The Association for Social Health in India has a home, Vathsalya, for 50 orphan and destitute girls. It runs a Kannada medium nursery and primary school for economically disadvantaged children from nearby slums. It has a free creche, Mamatha, for 30 children whose mothers are manual labourers. It has a home, Abhayashrama, for destitute women and unwed mothers, and a short stay home, Navachethana, for women in distress. It offers free family and marital counselling, and has a Public Cooperation Scheme to spread the message of social health through lectures and discussions. It has provided shelter and rehabilitation to over 7000 women and children since its inception.
